Undergraduate Module Management

• Please complete and submit the form by 17th June 2011 at the latest. Where a choice is available for both Semesters 1 and 2, entries must be made for both NOW.
• You will have the opportunity to amend your selection during the first week of each semester.
• If you are selecting a language as an option, you must complete the boxes on the options form to state which language and your previous experience.
  1. In the free text box "Chosen language, subject or module ..." enter one from:
     French / German / Spanish / Mandarin Chinese
  2. In the free text box "Previous experience of this subject ..." enter existing language qualifications,
     e.g., none or GCSE/A Level German 2007 Grade C (PLEASE SPECIFY GRADE OBTAINED) or Loughborough University EUL Module Level 3 French 2009/10, etc.
  PLEASE NOTE THAT AS PLACES ON SOME LANGUAGE MODULES ARE LIMITED, AN ALTERNATIVE LANGUAGE CHOICE MAY BE OFFERED. You must check the timetable published by the Department of Politics, History and International Relations at the beginning of term for times and locations.
• Numbers may also be restricted on some departmental modules. On those programmes where a second selection choice is not available on the options form, students will be notified by e-mail and asked to reselect.
• The department reserves the right to withdraw any optional module where numbers are non-viable, or restrict choice where timetabling constraints make this necessary. Students will be notified by e-mail in this event before the beginning of term and asked to re-select.
• Further details of the modules are available from the current module catalogue.
• If you have any queries or would like advice regarding your choice please see either your personal tutor, the programme tutor or the member of staff concerned with the module.
• Print out the confirmation screen that appears after you press the submit button, for your records.
• You will be advised when the options are loaded and your selection can then be checked using the My Modules facility.
