IT Services have identified some University student accounts where malicious attackers have obtained usernames and passwords. If you have received an email asking you to reset your password before Monday 12th December, IT Services believe that your account is at risk, so please ensure you carry out a reset ASAP.
If passwords are not changed on 'at risk' accounts before this date, IT Services will be forced to change the password, at which point you will lose access to University lab computers, access to Learn, access to University email and potentially wireless access.

Students with compromised accounts have been contacted directly advising them to update their passwords.
