Study spaces

The Library will be open 24/7 from the first day of next term (Monday 4 January) through the exam period.

As well as in the library there is a range of other study space available across campus. There’s an online map and a list of where these spaces are.

Computer facilities are also available - click here for more information. The IT Services website provides real-time information on whether there are computers currently available. Schools also have computers available to use – go to Lab Contacts here for a list. 

Additional seating and revision space will also be available from the start of term in LSU for group work and individual learning.

Specialist IT software and PC clinics 

IT Services make a wide range of software available to download free of charge. For a full list of everything available, and details of how to download it, go to the IT Services website.  IT Services can also help through the PC Clinic in the Library for any problems with laptops or desktops.

Mathematics Learning Support Centres

The University’s two Mathematics Learning Support Centres are open to all Loughborough students. They offer study space with books and computers available, and one-to-one drop-in support with mathematics and statistics.

If you feel you need some guidance throughout the exams Student Services can help.

Student Voice, in the Students' Union is also able to provide advice and guidance with Impaired Performance claims http://www.lsu.co.uk/voice/

The arrangements for the exam period include a number of changes made in direct response to feedback from students.  These include the early availability of exam timetables, 24/7 opening of the library and the availability of more informal learning spaces across campus.  We hope these help in the run up to exams.  Good luck!
