The VPN service will be unavailable from 8:00am until 8:30am on Thursday 26th November 2020.

IT Services will be carrying out essential maintenance on the campus VPN (Virtual Private Network) service. The benefits of this work are to increase the stability and security of the campus VPN service to support remote working requirements.

Affected services include:

Campus restricted services that require remote access via the VPN service when off campus e.g. Labs Remote Desktop Access service, some Library services and other university resources that can only be accessed on campus or via the VPN service.

Action required?

We advise that VPN users save all work and log off the VPN before the service is taken offline at 8:00am.
