Loughborough University is proud to once again host BUCS Big Wednesday, the biggest event in university sport.
Over two thrilling days (18–19 March 2025), 58 teams will compete across 16 sports, battling for gold. It all kicks off on Tuesday 18th with American Football, leading into a full day of finals on Wednesday.
Whether you’re a passionate sports fan or just up for a great day out, come and enjoy the buzz and support the teams in African Violet.
With Loughborough competing in up to 21 teams across 11 sports, expect record-breaking performances, intense rivalries, and historic moments. Over 2,000 student-athletes and 2,500 b an electric atmosphere!
