Study Week (Week 7) is coming to Loughborough, taking place from Monday 9 - Friday 13 November 2026. This dedicated week gives you a guaranteed breather from timetabled teaching, with space to catch up, reflect on your progress, and prepare for the rest of the semester.
Whether you're looking to get ahead on revision, brush up on referencing, or simply take stock and recharge, Study Week is designed with you in mind.
The week includes academic skills workshops covering everything from time management to referencing and critical thinking, alongside wellbeing activities such as guided walks, and daily drop-in support from Academic Writing Tutors, Academic Librarians and Mathematics Learning Support Tutors.
A pilot run across a small group of Schools last year covered many of these sessions and was well received by the students who took part, helping shape what's on offer this year. Some Schools will also run local, subject-specific activities alongside the central programme, so keep an eye out for what's happening in yours too.
You'll find the full central schedule, including how to book onto sessions, on the Study Week website. Your School will confirm anything running locally, giving you the flexibility to choose the activities that suit your needs and priorities that week.
