Rendering the Scene

The system calculates the colours, textures, reflections, highlights, transparency, shadows etc across all the model surfaces [inside and out, regardless of whether they are seen] and the surrounding scene.  Even with a simple model this can take a long time.  As your model becomes more complex the processing time greatly increases.

Do a test render with lower quality settings and at a smaller resolution until the light, colour, camera, etc are what you like and then crank them up to full.

Render just a selected area of the scene to consider details such as shadows.

Once you are happy with your render setup you will need to save an image file, this could be as simple as a screen dump - Print Screen on keyboard - pasted into a graphics editor and cropped.

Render Setup > Output > Render to > [image file type]

This options outputs the render directly to an image file.

Make sure you review the image file immediately as it can vary significantly from the screen image.  Also consider the image output size:

Image Size > Size > Custom

Bigger is not always best, what is the intended end use?
