  1. Attend a training session
    Undertake a one-off training session which will give you an insight into the software and knowledge of the practices and procedures involved in producing and delivering online assessments. You can browse a selection of dates and times at Professional Development course bookings or contact caa@lboro.ac.uk to discuss your requirements. The software will not be available to download unless you have been trained.

  2. Install the software
    On your PC, click Start > Settings > Control Panel
    A screen, as below, will be displayed:

    Double-click Add or Remove Programs, to see a display similar to the one below:

    Click on the Add New Programs tab (second tab down, on the left), a list of programs you can install will be listed, as shown below:

    Select 'QuestionMark Perception Authoring Manager 4.4 SP1', and click 'Add', as shown below:

    The software will begin installing and any earlier versions of the software will be removed. Once installed, your PC will reboot.

    Once the software is successfully installed you are able to start creating questions and assessments. Please ensure you use the support pages to guide you.

Note: the installer is for Microsoft Windows XP and Vista operating systems. It may be installed in a Windows emulation on a Mac, Mac Os X.
