Windchill
Windchill (WC) is an integrated suite of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) applications from PTC
PLM software manages a core set of data for a project stored on a server which is accessed via a web interface or directly within the CAD environment. Everyone involved in the project - team, organisation, subcontractors - then work from the same data. Different levels of access and permissions can be assigned by the project manager.
When a file is 'checked out' for editing by a user, other user may be able to open and view the but they cannot make any changes.
We shall be using the Project Link application within Windchill with our data stored on the server:
